I am a designer and mixed media artist living in Southern California. I completed my bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in graphic design at Azusa Pacific University in 2001 and earned my MFA in 2017.
I spent much of my childhood entering poster contests, making school shoebox dioramas, and taking local art classes. Growing up, my grandmother was the first to plant the idea in my head that I could create art for a living as an animator. I didn’t go that exact route, but did realize that I should pursue art and design in college.
After college and internship opportunities, I worked my way up from production artist to assistant creative director, contributing my creative vision to the world of higher education. I have a strong passion for layout design, branding systems, photography, textiles, and art.
